Whether classic matrix sorting, tuple or bubble sort processes – the bag sorter offers the right sorting process to suit your application. System control via the Warehouse Management System routes the pouches with their products to the appropriate packing position fully automatically. The sorter pouches arrive at the work stations in exactly the desired sequence and all that remains to do is to pack the items. This allows jobs that differ in size and destination to be handled simultaneously and the BOWE Pouch Sorter’s capacity to be exploited to the full.

The BOWE INTRALOGISTICS Pouch Sorter’s dynamic buffer allows items that are in high demand or returns that might be re-ordered to be held in readiness in their pouches rather than having to be picked again manually. Every pouch is fitted with an RFID chip or barcode and matched up with a specific physical item. When fulfilling customer orders, the BOWE IQ Warehouse Management Systems draw items from the dynamic buffer first. If there are elements of the customer order that are not held in the buffer, those items need to be picked manually and loaded into a pouch. All the pouches are then forwarded fully automatically to the packing position, gathered directly from the sorter and sent on for dispatch.
